Toodles my ugly poodles.

Seeing as i’ll be departing the sweet and vivacious suburban life of Sydney in 1 1/2 days to soak up the endless rays of the Philippine Sun (and pollution, ew) and to finnaly experience what ‘traffic’ actually means. Here’s a take on the year that was, since I doubt i will have proper access to you, mister tumblr-rino.

2009 has sure been the most rockiest yet one of the pivotal years of my life. Definitely good, and definitely bad and not to mention one of the most eye-opening. I can certainly say that I’ve been on a emotional roller coaster but who hasn’t?

There were the good. The times where I feel like I’ve accomplished so much to the point where I could tick off that goal on my to do list. As well as the times knowing that nothing is impossible and learning from your mistakes help build that step to the journey to the future. And, who could forget those scrapbook moments with your loved ones. Nothing is greater than that.

And there were the bad. I could say that they were the worst and depressing scenes of my life, but now, i’m not. Because the bad, is what takes you onto that self realization path. Yeh I sound corny and mushy but i’m being realistic here! Eg. the times were you felt so worthless that the world has just crushed upon your shoulders since ‘perceptions always manage to trump reality’. Or, the times where you know you’ve tried but it hasn’t come to plan. And the times where we can’t accept the fact that people and things have changed, whether it was in a good or a bad way but it managed to wake you up and ‘do something about it’.

Anyway, apart from the cornyness vibe this text has taken you on, 2009 has been a great year. Change was a huge factor this year and knowing me I hate change even though I crave for it everyday; weird, but that’s just me. I craved for attention from certain people but failed. It sucked. But whatever. The end of that era has unequivocally reached it’s end.

I can’t wait for 2010. Seriously, I love fresh starts. Personally, if you would scale how utterly excited I am, i’m probably on the 10000000000 out of 10 side.
Although, tt’s also that year where you pin the ‘last’ points on the storyboard of life. Last year of high school, last year of ugly school uniforms, the last year of your learner license and the last year of spending your lunch breaks with the people you love most. I hate that cause i’m such an emotional sucker. I know i’m over-analysing this but hey, just picking out the obvious.

Anyway to sum up what i’ve actually blabbered on about for a lovely few minutes of your life is that CAN’T WAIT FOR 2010. See ya.

Oh ps. Merry Christmas & hope you have a Happy New Year! (to the people that actually read this) :)

SKINNY LOVE - BON IVER

so beautiful

His voice - soothing as it sounds, the simplistic arrangement of this song always gets me, you know. Did i mention his album is just as amazing?

Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow’.

Sonnet.. I don’t know how to write
A haiku, 5 7 5, Seems too tight
3 little words im not able to say
But Taylor, this is what I can tell you today
Though I can’t say those words to you tonight
Please, stick with me, cause I feel someday I might.
— Ryan Atwood to Taylor Townsend (The OC S04E11)
